Bloodworms!

Buzzers are the 1 fly you can rely on 365 days a year.  They start life as a bloodworm and live in the mud of sill waters.

Their colour is achieved by the oxygen and haemaglobin held within their bodies but when close to hatching they lose some of the blood red colour.  They swim to the surface and hesitate before hatching.

When they actually reach the surface they hand in the surface film and hatch into an adult buzzer or midge.

We have put together this handy collection of bloodworms for you to make it easy and quick to select the ideal mix of bloodworms for your next fly fishing trip!  Simple!
