Its with great sadness to learn of the recent passing of John Goddard. He was a great inspiration and source of knowledge to all anglers not just trout fishermen and entomologists.
I had the greatest of pleasures sitting with him tying flies and talking fly dressing on the Guild stand in 2004, when he launched his book - The Trout Fly Patterns.
