Patrick's Orange Duck Fly - Trout Fly

Patrick's Orange Duck Fly is a new interpretation of the Irish duck fly patterns that are seen to regularly take big bags of trout from the Irish Loughs. Tied with the classic slim body profile and updated with the new “Semperfli Straggle String" as a thorax. Completed with hot spot thorax cheeks and a sparse hackle. These new duck flies perfect for fishing on any stillwater.

I was disappointed with colour of this wire as in my opinion it was more of a copper colour than the light gold as described. Apart from the colour the wire seems fine

Problem with other makes of Flex or Flexi Floss is that they are sold in cut lengths. UNI FLEXX FLOSS is packaged on a spool of 15 yards, so I can cut long lengths to suit the flies I'm tying. The Red Flexx Floss is just the right colour I was looking for. Great product, good price and speedy delivery from the essentially, thanks guys😊
