Caledonia Flies Barbed Hackled Wet Collection #12

We have chosen twelve of our most popular Hackled Wet flies for you in one handy collection.

Hackled Wet flies have the ability to imitate a range of insects under water from dead flies to emerging insects and are ideal for hunting more established Trout in Stillwaters no matter if you are on bankside or a boat.

The idea when using a Hacked Wet fly is to allow the current to drag the fly along and allow it to look natural as it drifts past nearby Trout. If the line starts to drag then a simple flick upstream is normally sufficient to stop the drag and ensure perfect presentation.

Problem with other makes of Flex or Flexi Floss is that they are sold in cut lengths. UNI FLEXX FLOSS is packaged on a spool of 15 yards, so I can cut long lengths to suit the flies I'm tying. The Red Flexx Floss is just the right colour I was looking for. Great product, good price and speedy delivery from the essentially, thanks guys😊
