The Bivisible Brown is tied entierly from hackles - no other materials other than tying thread are used. It is the combination of colours of hackles on the collar and body which produced the distinct Bi-visible effect on the Bivisible Brown. As a bushy fly the Bivisible Brown is normally fished as a dry fly on fast broken water where it floats easily riding high on the sufrace with floatant. The Bivisible Brown also makes a good dropper fly when fishing on a lake in large waves. Finally the Bivisible Brown makes a great dapping fly

This pattern does not often feature in catalogues. The flies, very promptly received, look to be well tied, however, it remains to be seen as to how well they stand up to prolonged use. Would like a size 16 and even an 18, to be available. Often effective on the Dove when all else has failed
