There are many natural flies covered by the generic term 'black gnat'. These are usually terrestrial flies of the Bibio species through some fly fishermen consider the water loving Emphid flies to be the only true Black Gnat. Regardless of preference this fly will be found in most fly fishermens fly boxes as it is deadly at times.

Spot on very well tied and fast delivery

A great fly pattern, looked well made, got a good hit on the first cast, but the fish got off. When I retrieved the fly, I observed that the hook bend had opened out.
I appreciate this can be a problem sometimes as hook size reduces, but I had hoped for a better quality at this premium cost, hence just three stars.

All our hooks are tied on top quality hooks, this can unfortunatly happen depending on how much force the fish puts into its bite.

Neat good quality product. Box and labelled well on delivery. My mobile struggled to access the site properly, it kept jumping away from the boxes where i was trying to select flies.Brilliant service though would buy again as they are better quality than shop bought flies
