Rio Products - Skagit Leader

The Skagit Leader is the ultimate tapered leader for delivering big, heavy flies typically used with skagit shooting head systems.

Its short overall length and abrupt taper give the Skagit Leader the most  powerful turnover possible so no energy generated during the cast is sacrificed in the final few feet. While leaders of level tippet are commonly used with skagit heads, the hinging  effect they generate hampers turnover of bulky  patterns. The Skagit Leader eliminates this  effect for the smoothest delivery of the heaviest  flies out there.

I was disappointed with colour of this wire as in my opinion it was more of a copper colour than the light gold as described. Apart from the colour the wire seems fine

UNI FLEXX FLOSS

Problem with other makes of Flex or Flexi Floss is that they are sold in cut lengths. UNI FLEXX FLOSS is packaged on a spool of 15 yards, so I can cut long lengths to suit the flies I'm tying. The Red Flexx Floss is just the right colour I was looking for. Great product, good price and speedy delivery from the essentially, thanks guys😊
