A super hard, slick finish oval-shaped nylon shooting line, with no memory after being stretched and an extremely low coefficient of friction for long distance casts.

 

Matching Shooting Lines

There are two main types of shooting lines, thin coated floating shooting lines and hard nylon shooting lines. It is important to match the right size of shooting line to the size of the head used to ensure the longest possible flight time.

COATED FLOATING SHOOT - Float high and are easier to handle.

HARD NYLON SHOOT - Give maximum distance.

Problem with other makes of Flex or Flexi Floss is that they are sold in cut lengths. UNI FLEXX FLOSS is packaged on a spool of 15 yards, so I can cut long lengths to suit the flies I'm tying. The Red Flexx Floss is just the right colour I was looking for. Great product, good price and speedy delivery from the essentially, thanks guys😊
