Hemingway's Premium Standard Thread

Hemingway's Premium standard tying thread used by many tyers. Chatacterized by a particularly rough surface, which renders it suitable for tying any type of dubbing. It has excellent tensile strength in relation to the aught rating.

  • 100 yards (91 meters) per spool
  • Available in three aught ratings:
    • 3/0 - Suitable for tying large bodies - recommended to be used on #6-#10 hooks
    • 6/0 - Suitable for tying uniform bodies - recommended to be used on #10-#14 hooks
    • 8/0 - Suitable for tying thing and uniform bodies - recommended to be used on #16-#24 hooks

I was disappointed with colour of this wire as in my opinion it was more of a copper colour than the light gold as described. Apart from the colour the wire seems fine

UNI FLEXX FLOSS

Problem with other makes of Flex or Flexi Floss is that they are sold in cut lengths. UNI FLEXX FLOSS is packaged on a spool of 15 yards, so I can cut long lengths to suit the flies I'm tying. The Red Flexx Floss is just the right colour I was looking for. Great product, good price and speedy delivery from the essentially, thanks guys😊
