Smhaen Thread Splitter
Smhaen Thread Splitter is perfect splitting your thread to make space for creating a dubbing loop. Once you have inserted your materials, simply spin the bobbin holder to tighten the thread around the material and wrap around the hook.
The Smhaen Thread Splitter can split thick or thin single ply threads, thanks to a smooth edge & small knob on the end of the needle. Don’t worry about it rolling off a table either as the clever designers have made one side with a flat edge!
How to use the Smhaen Thread Splitter:
- Flatten the thread on the shaft of the needle.
- Slide the thread to the knob at the end of the needle.
- Allow the small edge to grip the individual fibres.
- Pull back slightly so you can see the fibres separate.
- Push the round knob through to split the thread into two strands.
PLEASE NOTE: Only single ply linear fibre threads can be split, polyester type thread is not able to be split.
