Quill Subs Small Green Peacock was designed to be particularly special in that it has that same amazing multicolour iridescence of natural peacock which is very difficult to reproduce in a synthetic material. The full range of Peacock Quill Subs is available in 5 different sizes, in black peacock or green peacock colour options, from Extra Small which are perfect for Perdigons to wide 1.5mm (1/16”) Braid for streamers and salmon flies.

Peacock herl substitute

With the approaching ban on peacock herl this is an excellent substitute, it's convenient, (being on a spool ), but it is also very strong and durable. I'll be using this instead of peacock herl from now on.

I was disappointed with colour of this wire as in my opinion it was more of a copper colour than the light gold as described. Apart from the colour the wire seems fine

UNI FLEXX FLOSS

Problem with other makes of Flex or Flexi Floss is that they are sold in cut lengths. UNI FLEXX FLOSS is packaged on a spool of 15 yards, so I can cut long lengths to suit the flies I'm tying. The Red Flexx Floss is just the right colour I was looking for. Great product, good price and speedy delivery from the essentially, thanks guys😊
