Orange Blob

Blobs including patterns like Orange Blob have become a mainstay of UK stillwater fly fishing, love them or hate them! Effective on stocked fisheries Orange Blob can be used suspended below an indicator or bung. Orange Blob also are able to be fished with floatant 'bottom-up', use a short leader (often as little as 2 or 3 feet) on a sinking line. A short retrieve of the Orange Blob will cause it to dive when retrieve then raise again in the water. Best fished dlow but occassional sharp figure of 8 retrieves can trigger trout attacks.

Key to fishing blobs is to learn the 'hang' suspending a static or extremely slow moving blob which can work with spooky or fish that are under heavy fishing pressure.

Problem with other makes of Flex or Flexi Floss is that they are sold in cut lengths. UNI FLEXX FLOSS is packaged on a spool of 15 yards, so I can cut long lengths to suit the flies I'm tying. The Red Flexx Floss is just the right colour I was looking for. Great product, good price and speedy delivery from the essentially, thanks guys😊
