We have chosen twelve of our top selling Caledonia Barbed Bloodworm flies in one simple collection for you.

Bloodworms are the emerging form of midge which is the only fly to hatch 365 days a year, to mimic nature you should fish the Bloodworm close to the bottom of the stillwater / river bed. The Bloodworm can be used as a point fly in a team of 3 or 4 flies, to imitate nature perfectly a wriggly swimming action in the water column is required up to the surface and drifting back down again. The brighter red the fly the younger it is in its lifecycle, as they gets closer to hatching they take on more sombre colours.

Problem with other makes of Flex or Flexi Floss is that they are sold in cut lengths. UNI FLEXX FLOSS is packaged on a spool of 15 yards, so I can cut long lengths to suit the flies I'm tying. The Red Flexx Floss is just the right colour I was looking for. Great product, good price and speedy delivery from the essentially, thanks guys😊
