The Cats Whisker pattern has been around and many new variants are available. A proven lure available in mini or regular versions so there is sure to be a Cat pattern for your fishing. Using either slow retrieve or a jerking retrieve movement has been proven with the Cats range. Dumbell eyes add extra movement to the fly.

The Barbed Cats #10 range are manufactured by Caledonia Fly Company who are known for quality flies and workmanship.

 

Mini Lures - Cats #10 Competition Flies Sizing

Warning: If using mini lures like Cats #10 they must always be checked against the International Fly Guage. It is a competitors personal responsibility to check size before using these flies. Remember to check the length of the hackles, especially Marabou as it can be longer when wet.

Problem with other makes of Flex or Flexi Floss is that they are sold in cut lengths. UNI FLEXX FLOSS is packaged on a spool of 15 yards, so I can cut long lengths to suit the flies I'm tying. The Red Flexx Floss is just the right colour I was looking for. Great product, good price and speedy delivery from the essentially, thanks guys😊
